Letters to Gladstone from members of the Palgrave family can be found in the Gladstone Papers passim. From the collection of Mrs Susanna Hodson, granddaughter of Sir Reginald Palgrave and wife of the Bishop of Hereford, who gave them to the donor in 1973.
