Scale: 16 poles to the inch [1:3168]. North west to the top. Highly detailed map depicting individual partitions of fields with names of tenants and total area of each parcel of land. Common land, neighbouring parishes and landowners, roads, and village also depicted. Includes a table giving the total area of each landowner’s holdings and the sum total of the area of the parish. I. ‘Plan of the Stantonbury Estate the property of the Rt Hon. Earl Spencer’; [19th cent.?]. No surveyor named. Scale: 8 chains to the inch [1:6336]. North at top. Depicts numbered, colour-coded fields, railway and rivers running through the land, and some isolated buildings. Table gives details of the name of each field, the type of land (arable, pasture etc.), and the total area. Drains are marked in some riverside fields. Presentation map with annotations suggesting it was later used as a draft for another version.
