A. 'A Plan of the Borough of Okehampton in the County of Devon Survey'd by I. Wynne and G. Aislabie in the Year 1756 and Copied by T. Richardson Surveyor in 1773’; 1773. Scale: 2 chains to the inch [1:1584]. North west at top. Decorative title cartouche. Detailed plan of Okehampton showing individual buildings, colour-coded. Explanatory notes explain which colour refers to which of nine major landowners. Outlying fields are similarly colour-coded and their sizes given. Roads through the town are named, the East and West rivers and their confluence with the Ockment River depicted, and the extent of the borough is marked by a circle. Presentation map.

Scale: 3 chains to the inch [1:2376]. North west at top. Depicts named fields with total area, woodlands, Dartmoore Forest, farms, roads, villages, and isolated properties, neighbouring lordships, parishes, and landowners, River Ockment, and Okehampton Park. Okehampton town is depicted with its main streets named, properties marked, and the East and West rivers flowing through the town marked. The extent of the borough boundary is indicated by a circle. Draft, possibly prepared on a plane table.

North east at top. Depicts fields and farmland, woods, roads, and neighbouring landowners. Acreage of some fields is given. Draft, possibly prepared on a plane table.
