A. 'A ground plan of Church Brampton'; [17th cent.?]. No scale given [approx. 1:1508]. No surveyor named. Each property in the village is numbered and the owners or occupiers are named around the edge of the plan.
Ink and watercolour on vellum. 468 x 282mm.
B. 'A Plan of the Estate at Church Brampton in the County of Northampton Belonging to The Right Honble Earl Spencer', by John Corris; 1777. Scale bar but no indication of measurements used [approx. 1:7040]. North at top. Shows coloured fields with boundaries and names of tenants or owners, Rector's lands, boundaries of lordship, village buildings, and roads. Decorative title cartouche in the style of a Japanese garden. Presentation map with annotations suggesting it was later used as a draft for another version.

Also shows roads, neighbouring lordships, Rector’s lands, and church. Draft, possibly prepared on a plane table.
