A. 'A Map with References to a Survey of the Land belonging to Earl Spenser [sic] At Elkington in the County of Northampton as taken in May 1775 by W. Sutton'; 1775. Scale: 4 Gunters chains to the inch [1:3168]. North at top. Shows field names and sizes, neighbouring lordships and owners of neighbouring land, roads and footpaths, and some tenants’ houses.
Ink on vellum. 858 x 1538mm. Three sheets.
B. 'A Plan of the Estate in the Lordship of Elkington and County of Northampton Belonging to the Right Honourable Earl Spencer Surveyed by W. Sutton in 1775 and copied by John Corris 1780'; 1780. Scale: 9 chains to the inch [1:7128]. North at top. Depicts named and numbered fields. Pencil annotations give the name of the tenants. Roads, and neighbouring lordships and landowners are marked. Copy.
Ink and watercolour on vellum. 400 x 590mm.
C. 'Map of the Elkington Estate in the County of Northampton belonging to the Right Honourable the Earl Spencer. Surveyed by William Bonsor 1838'; 1838. Scale: 6 chains to the inch [1:4752]. North at top. Depicts fields, neighbouring parishes, roads and river. Details of drainage in some riverside fields are marked in red. Annotated "Part of Mr Gee's farm corrected 1870 [?] by S.H.H. [?]. Corrected to the end of 1865 J.G. [?]." Presentation map with annotations suggesting it was later used as a draft for another version.
