Lectures on diplomacy:
1. Lecture on the role of the diplomat in the modern world, beginning, 'When I was first appointed as Ambassador to Moscow'; typewritten with autograph annotations.
2. 'The Structure and Methods of British Diplomacy'; two copies, the first with autograph annotations; typewritten.
3. Lecture designed to give, 'some idea of the kind of life and the kind of work that a member of the diplomatic corps in London can expect'. Begins, 'When I was in the Foreign Service'; typewritten with autograph annotations.
4. Conclusion to a talk on British diplomacy and London as a diplomatic centre, for a German audience; paginated by Hayter, 14-16; typewritten.
5. Notes on Hayter's experience as a diplomat; autograph.
Lectures on Britain and the E.E.C.:
6. Two copies of a lecture beginning, 'The collapse at Brussels', regarding the possible course of action for Britain and the E.E.C. following the French veto of Britain's entry; [1963?]. Both typewritten, the second with autograph annotations and is annotated, 'Oxford Tech. May '65'.
7. Lecture regarding, 'Grossbritannien und der europaeische Kontinent'. German. After a variant opening, from, 'Der Bruesseler Fehlschlag' (f. 5.), the lecture continues as the same as that from f.1 of item 6. Typewritten on Foreign Office paper, with autograph annotations.
