Burdett-Coutts Papers. Vol. iii. Private correspondence and personal memorabilia of Angela Burdett-Coutts.
1. Cut-out dresses for a paper doll, [circa 1825-1835], in an envelope inscribed by William Burdett-Coutts: 'Carefully inspected, looked at, wondered at, & laughed over, on Saturday night June 8 1872.'
2. Notes on the infancy of an unnamed girl, possibly Angela Burdett-Coutts, beg. 'When she was just twelve months old she began to crawl ...'
3. The Gospel According to Saint John (Oxford, 1875), given to Angela Burdett-Coutts by General Charles George Gordon. Printed, with notes by William Burdett-Coutts: 'I think he took it from his pocket & gave it to the Baroness on last visit just before going out to the Soudan'.
4. Envelopes formerly containing letters to Angela Burdett-Coutts from her husband William Ashmead Bartlett (later William Burdett-Coutts). One envelope inscribed by William Burdett-Coutts: 'Very Private. To be destroyed unopened.'

Thank God nothing prevented it.'
