1. Certificate of Ordination from George Lavington, Bishop of Exeter, creating John Coleridge a deacon; 24 Sep. 1749. Endorsed on the reverse with the dates and occasions when it was produced for inspection.
2. Certificate of Ordination from George Lavington, Bishop of Exeter, creating John Coleridge a priest; 23 Dec. 1750.
3. License from George Lavington, Bishop of Exeter certifying that John Coleridge has been assigned to the Lecturership of Molland and assented to the 39 Articles; 5 Jan. 1753.
4. Certified declaration by John Coleridge that he would conform to the liturgy of the Church of England prior to his being licenced to the Lecture of Molland, signed by George Lavington; 5 Jan. 1753.
5. Licence for John Coleridge to preach in the parish church at Molland, signed by George Lavington; 5 Jan. 1753.
6. Licence from George, Bishop of Exeter to John Coleridge permitting him to teach at the King's School, Ottery St Mary; 6 Sep. 1760.
7. Licence to John Coleridge to the perpetual vicarage of Ottery St Mary, signed by George Lavington; 27 Dec. 1760.
8. Authorisation from the Bishop to those concerned, permitting them to induct John Coleridge into the possession of the Vicarage at Ottery St Mary; 27 Dec. 1760.
9. Affidavit that John Coleridge had read both the morning and evening prayers according the Book of Common Prayer at Ottery St Mary, declared his assent to their tenets and read his commission from the Bishop of Exeter to the assembled congregation; 4 Jan. 1761.
10. Certified declaration by William Coleridge that he would conform to the Liturgy of the Church of England prior to his being licensed to the curacy of Ottery St Mary; 5 Jun. 1780.
11. Certificate of ordination from John Ross, Bishop of Exeter, creating William Coleridge a deacon.
12 Licence from Henry Philpotts, Bishop of Exeter creating John Coleridge Patteson assistant curate of Ottery St Mary and at Alphington; 11 Oct. 1853. This may be a copy, as despite the wording it seems to have been signed but not sealed.
