Mostly typewritten. ‘The Pearl of Elizondo’, an unproduced ‘Opera-Bouffe in One Act by Jacques Offenbach Freely Adapted from the Text of Battu and Moinaux’. The original title of Offenbach’s work is Pépito, first performed in Paris in 1853. ‘The Plane Tree’ is an unproduced play based on the legend of the Persian king Xerxes, which had already been adapted as an opera by Handel.
