An article, probably the last written by Eleanor Farjeon, about a story written by her father, B. L. Farjeon, in 1903. Published in [italics]The Horn Book Magazine[/italics], 41.4 (Aug. 1965).
2. ff. 12-44. ‘Dark World of Animals’; [[italics]circa[/italics] 1945]. Draft with [italics]autograph[/italics] revisions. A collection of short prose pieces about animals, many drawn from autobiographical experience, apparently intended for inclusion in Book Four of the memoirs. For a full account of the visit to Lisieux, described in Chapter xix of the published edition, see Add. 83152. Published as [italics]Dark World of Animals[/italics] (1945), with wood engravings by T. Stoney.
