1. ff. 1-33. Mostly [italics]printed[/italics] cuttings from [italics]The Daily Herald[/italics] with verses written by Eleanor Farjeon under the pseudonym ‘Tomfool’; [1922]-28 May 1933, n.d. From 1931, the ‘Tomfool’ verses appeared in [italics]Reynolds's Illustrated News[/italics]. A selection of Eleanor Farjeon’s ‘Tomfool’ verse was published under the pseudonym as [italics]Moonshine[/italics] (1921).
2. f. 34. ‘December’; [[italics]circa[/italics] 1920s]. Draft of a verse written for ‘The Monthly Calendar’, published in the periodical [italics]Time and Tide[/italics] under the pseudonym ‘Chimaera’.
3. ff. 35-50. Drafts of obituaries and tributes to Henrietta Leslie (ff. 35-36), H G Wells (ff. 37-38), Alice Meynell (ff. 39-44) and Herman Ould (ff. 45-50); July/Aug. 1946-19 Sept. 1951. Both scripts describe experiences at two childhood Christmas parties. The incident of ‘Little Nellie’s Writing Case’ was retold in Anne Harvey, [italics]A Present for Nellie[/italics] (1982).
