Supplementary Poetry Bookshop Papers. Vol. x. Letters addressed to Alida Monro from various authors; 1908-1958. Letters are from Conrad Aiken, Sydney C. Cockerell, W. H. Davies, Walter de la Mare, Henry Eliot, T. S. Eliot, David Gascoyne, H. D.[i.e. Hilda Aldington], Maurice Hewlett, Ralph Hodson, Edward Marsh, John Masefield, Ethel C. Mayne, C. M. M. [Charlotte Mew], Lady Ottoline Morrell, Siegfried Sassoon, Edith Sitwell, Osbert Sitwell, Pamela L. Travers, Louis Untermeyer, Alec Waugh, and W. B. Yeats. The Gascoyne letters are accompanied by typewritten and autograph manuscripts for his poems ‘A Sonnet for A.K.M’ and ‘Hinterland’. One of the letters from Edward Marsh to Harold Monro has a draft poem written on it. The letters from Marsh are accompanied by two typewritten copies of letters from [Harold Monro] to Marsh.
