'Ingratitude': a poem complaining of his son Arnold's unfilial neglect, by Walter Savage Landor; 1859. Autograph draft, written on one side only of an octavo leaf of grey wove paper. No watermark. The poem is dated at the end 'August 13. '59.', and was perhaps intended for inclusion in Heroic Idyls, 1863, as there is a note by Landor: 'The printer will take care that this comes the last of all'. Printed in Complete Works of W. S. Landor, vol. xv, 1935, p. 424. On the verso is an autograph draft, lacking the first two lines, and therefore beginning 'So fond of that bad boy who ran', of a poem printed in Letters and other Unpublished Writings of Walter Savage Landor, 1897, pp. 219-220. Also included is a photographic copy of the printed text of a poem 'To Robert Browning', by Landor, on which is written 'Sent out to New Zealand to me in 1845 by R. Browning. A. Domett'.
