'A Remarkable prophecy Of an approaching War': a translation from the Danish by George Borrow of the poem by F. J. Schaldemose; 1830-[1857?]. Autograph fair copy, written on both sides of one quarto leaf of white laid paper, and on one side only of another. The leaves are conjoined. Watermark 'T Warren / 1830'. Entitled as above in Borrow's hand. Below the title is the note 'from Schaldemose', and the first line of the poem in Danish, both autograph. At the head of the first page is another autograph note 'See Skyggebilleder p. 71'. For dating see the description of A2409. Printed in The Works of George Borrow, viii, 1923, pp. 148-151.
