1. Letter from George Bentley to Dr. Doran, asking him not to review the book as it is not certain it will be published; 29 Nov. 1872. f. 27.
2. The entry describing a copy of The Unpublished Letters etc. cut out from B. Dobell's catalogue for [ ], pasted on a piece of paper on which is a note in the hand of [T. J. Wise?] describing how he acquired the volume. f. 28.
3. Letter from John Murray to T. J. Wise giving the history of the suppression of The Unpublished Letters etc.; 9 Dec. 1931. ff. 29, 29b.
4. Letter from H. S. Schultess Young to John Murray chiefly concerning the origin of the letters printed in The Unpublished Letters etc., and the identity of Miss L― to whom some of the letters are addressed; 7 March 1932. f. 30.
