1. Two letters to A. C. Swinburne, the earlier commenting on Swinburne's article on Charles Wells, Joseph and His Brethren, and mentioning Swinburne's political poems and the new edition of Atalanta in Calydon, the later telling of a stay at Kelmscott with William Morris; 23 [Jan.] 1875, 12 Oct. 1882. The earlier letter is printed, with one brief paragraph omitted, in Thomas Hake and Arthur Compton-Rickett, The Life and Letters of Theodore Watts-Dunton, vol. i, 1916, pp. 135-138. ff. 22-31b.
2. Letter to [W. B.] Scott, concerning R. H. Shepherd, some poems of Ebenezer Jones, and Scott's behaviour with regard to these and to Watts[-Dunton] himself; 3 Dec. 1878. ff. 32-37b.
