2. Letter from J. A. Spoor to T. J. Wise, concerning 'The Pawnbroker's Daughter or The Reprieved Man', a play by Charles Lamb written in 1825, but apparently never published; 23 Dec. 1918. Signed. A MS., not autograph, of the play is Add. MS. 42874, ff. 691-713b. [Ashley Library Catalogue, iii, p. 57].
3. Transcription, typewritten, of the title page of The Book of the Ranks and Dignities of British Society, [1806?], a work sometimes attributed to Charles Lamb. T. J. Wise has added a note in ink 'Bookseller Halewood of Preston', and there is another note, in pencil, possibly in his hand, of the British Museum Press Marks of The Book of the Ranks and Dignities etc., [1806?], and of A Book explaining the Ranks and Dignities etc., 1809.
