Letter from George Dyer to Charles Lamb; circa 1 Feb. 1831. Copy, calligraphically written in green ink. On f. 107 is the note '[Copied for T. J. W. by G. A. A. from the original in her possession] Oct 16. 1922'. On the verso of the second leaf are notes on the original letter and its provenance in the same hand. The letter, which appears to be in reply to one from Lamb dated 20 Dec. 1830, is chiefly concerned with comments which Dyer had made on Samuel Rogers and Thomas Taylor, the Platonist, in The Poets' Fate, 1797. [Ashley Library Catalogue, iii, p. 57].
