'The Queen's Tragedy': a poem by A. C. Swinburne; [1858-1859?]. Autograph draft, written on both sides of ten quarto leaves of white laid paper, and on one side only of another (f. 11). Ashley Library Catalogue, vii, p. 66. The leaves were formerly part of a poetical notebook, and ff. 11, 11b contain autograph drafts of other poems, as follows: ―
1. Fragment of seven lines, beginning 'Indeed I know not how I seem to live'. f. 11.
2. Two stanzas of six lines, beginning 'Moreover, Love, I pray you kiss me close'. The draft is part of Constance's song in Part I of Rosamond, though the printed version uses only one of the two stanzas. f. 11b.
3. Deleted fragment of four lines, entitled 'Castel Le Blanc'. f. 11b.
