A bifolium containing notes from a manuscript record of documents issued under the signet temp. Richard III, now Harley MS 433 in the British Library; early 18th cent. The notes relate particularly to ff. 26, 54v and 340v and to Thomas Lynom, Solicitor General. Headed 'A Copy of the Paper given me by Mr. Stripe . . . I have the Original in his Hand'. John Strype (b. 1643, d. 1737) was the collector from whom Robert Harley acquired the volume (see R. Horrox and P. W. Hammond British Library Harleian Manuscript 433, I, 1979, p. xx). The paper referred to might have been given to the herald Sir Henry St George, in which case the present copy might be in the hand of his clerk, Robert Dale. Purchased from J. L. M. Gulley, April, 2003.
