MISCELLANEOUS papers concerning England, chiefly in relation to Holland and other, countries, and comprising, papers on political matters, trade, finance, etc., from 1674 to 1772; and copies of diplomatic correspondence during the years 1747 to 1757. Among them are:-
1. Papers relating to the jointure of Queen Mary of Modena, wife of James II.; 1685, 1697, ff. 3, 4, 12.
2. Address of William, Prince of Orange, to the officers and seamen of the English fleet; 1688, f. 6.
3. "Mémoire sommaire contenant les raisons qui doivent obliger les Prince,,; et Estats Protestans de contribuer au rétablissement de S[a] M[ajesté] B[ritannique]: " a manifesto of James 11. [1697], f. 18. L 4. " A Return of the Killed and Wounded of the Brittish Forces, in the late Action near Dettingen, June 1743;" with a statement of the French losses, f. 35.
