CORRESPONDENCE of the family of Haddock consisting chiefly of letter written by, or addresed to, Sir Richard Haddock, who entered the Navy under the Commonwealth and rose to the rank of Admiral and was a Commissioner and Comptroller of the Navy; 1639-1740, 1792. Sir Richard's letters, which extend from 1657 to 1712, contain accounts of the various actions in which he was engaged during the wars with the Dutch. The other writers are:-
