At the beginning, ff. 1, 2, are recipes in English verse; and at the end, f. 85 b, are some gardening and farming directions, and, ff. 87-99, rules for health during the different months, in verse. At f. 10 reference is made to the use of one of the recipes at Cambridge and includes the name of Mr. Pepis; and on f. 82 is a charm for ague, written by Mary Gee. On f. 99 is entered "John the sonne of Thomas Peachey bapt. the xxviijth of febrery Anno 1624." Vellum; ff. 99. xvith and early xviith centt. Oblong Octavo.
