TRACT, in English, against clerks "possessioners," attributed to John Wycliffe (so 'by an 18th cent. hand on f 1 b), being an ampler recension of that printed (from a Lambeth MS.) by F. D. Matthew, English Works of Wyclif, E. E. Text Soc., 188), pp. 362-393. Beg. " Omnis plantacio [etc., Matth. xv. 13]. AlmY3ti god pe trinyte fadir and sone and hooli goost bope in pe oold lawe." Imperfect at end. Vellum (except ff. 1-3); ff. 121. Circ. 1400. An illuminated initial. Bought by Sir Tho. Phillipps from Thorpe the bookseller (catal. 1836, no. 1359). Phillipps MS. 9237 (sale-cat. 1899, lot 214). Tooled in morocco binding (18th cent.). 4.75 in. x 3.25 in.
