Some of the songs have piano accompaniment (ff. 29-40, 60b-62, 64b-66b, 143-15O, 178-180). Included are six Portuguese 'modinhas' (ff. 165b-171), one 'anacreonticas' (ff. 178- 180) and five 'tiranas á duo' (ff. 181-188).
