G. Two letters from William Newcome, Bishop of Waterford, afterwards Archbishop of Armagh, (b. 1729, d. 1800) to his brother in London; 1782, [1786]. The letters relate to the distribution of his book, presumably Observations on our Lord's conduct as a Divine instructor which was published in 1782, and to the education of his son, William, who was not to be sent to Eton until 'his faculties ripened' but had been placed at a local school, 'the surest way by far for his religion, morals, manners, and health'. Purchased from J. L. M. Gulley, May 2006.
