J. Letter from Francis Blount , recusant, to Richard Stoneley al. Stondley, M.P. and Teller of the Exchequer (fl. 1520-1600) seeking financial assistance; Deptford, 26 Jan. [1594]. For Blount, who may possibly be identified as the second son of Charles Blount, 5th Lord Mountjoy, see Lansdowne MS 58, ff. 24-25v, 79-80v. With a cover sheet containing a transcription by John Eliot Hodgkin (b.1829, d.1912). Hodgkin's autograph collection was sold at Sotheby's on 22 April 1914. Purchased from J. L. M. Gulley, Nov. 2006.
