Knox (Cambridge, 1932) (ff. 56-63); correspondence with the British Broadcasting Corporation regarding a broadcast talk on freedom (ff. 64-72v), the script of the talk (published in The Listener, vol. 13, no. 326 (19 June 1935), pp. 1029-1030, 1063 (ff. 73-80), press cuttings of the public debate following the talk, letters from members of the public and Chesterton's replies to them (some published in J. Pearce, Wisdom and Innocence (1996), pp. 460-462) (ff. 81-150, 157-172, 174, 177, 179), correspondence about the publication of the broadcast talk with the text as revised for publication in Freedom (1936) (ff. 151-156, 173, 175-176, 178, 232-233), correspondence with Coulton including that about publication of the debate (Dorothy Collins' letter to Coulton published in M. Ffinch, op. cit., pp. 342-343) (ff. 180-231), a typewritten copy of Chesterton's expanded reply to Coulton, intended as a contribution to a published record of the whole controversy, but left unfinished at the time of Chesterton's death and never published (ff. 234-258).
