Two drafts of parts of 'Child Street' (see references at Add. 73338 A) (ff. 1-5), fragmentary poems including untitled poem beginning "Many have been her lovers" (see also Add. 73348) (ff. 20, 21), a draft letter 'Dear Miss Blogg. Have you got a Sub Secretary?' (f. 16v), sketches; circa 1896. The draft of 'Child Street' is preceded by a contents list showing it as story 1 of a set entitled 'Jest and prayer', with 'The gate of everywhere' as story 2. The collection was later renamed 'Poems and jests' (see C.W., vol. 14, p. 802).
