Walpole Papers. Vol. ccli ( ff.). Described by Coxe as: " Rough Draughts in Horace Walpole's hand of litle use"; 1712 - [ 1746 - 1747 ], n.d.; contents include:-
1. Small bound volume, paper covers: notes rel. to the dispute or disputes between the House of Commons and the States General as to deficiencies of troops, ships and subsidies, and to the proportion each country should pay towards supporting the War; with extracts from earlier treaties; and notes on motives for the war and on the causes of expences incurred; with a final section summarising the need for England to pay proportionately more towards the war; possibly prepared for a pamphlet; partly imperf.; n.d. [ aft. Apr. 1712 ].
2. List by Walpole: " dates of Facts from 1798 [ sic ] to Sept. 1709 "; in fact 1698 to 13 Sept. 1711; with a continuation on a separate bifolium, 22 April - 18 Nov. 1711; n.d. [ aft. 1711? ].
3. Paper by Walpole: " Conduct of Great Britain or an Abstract of transactions in consequence of the king of Poland's death in January 1733 NS to Novbre 13/24 following with an abstract of the treaty of Vienna "; probably connected with two items rel. to the conduct of England and France in above; [ aft. 24 Nov. 1733 ].
4. A continuation of the abstract of the " Conduct ", in two separate bound parts; " Part 2nd ", 27 Nov. 1733 - 21 July 1734; " Part 3rd ", July - 23 Nov. 1734.

6. Trade with Spain; communication from the Board of Trade to Mr Secretary Craggs, 28 March 1718; enclosing a letter or part of a letter from George Bubb, Envoy at Madrid, to Joseph Addison, a Lord Commissioner for Trade, 24 Sept. 1717; copies by Walpole; possibly part of ( 5 ); n.d.
