Walpole Papers. Vol. cclix. a (ff. ). Treaties; pamphlets, three bound in paper; possibly connected with Walpole's paper on Spanish depredations; see Add. MSS 9131, 74017 and Eg. MS 3483; 1667 - [ circa 1738 - 1739? ]:-

1. Bound treaty: Articuli Pacis ... .....Inter Carolum, eius nominis Secundum, & [ the Netherlands ].....; some underlining and word " For " written on the back inner cover; Latin; printed at The Hague, 1667.

2. Two pamphlets: " Remarks on the Articles of Peace, Commerce and Alliance Between the Crownes of Great Brittaine and Spaine Concluded in a Treaty att Madrid the 13/23 May 1667..."; copied in different hands and with slight variations; the unbound version is endorsed on the back cover by Walpole. The bound text may be the earlier version; it has sentences added in a second hand which are part of the main text in the other manuscript. The bound text alone in one place ( f. 1v ) has part of a sentence underlined, and a deletion of an error on f. 14r; further corrections and additions, in the main text of the unbound version, occur on f. 17r; two copies, one bound; n.d. [aft. 8 Oct. 1708; circa 1713? ] .

3. " Articles of Treaties referred to in the General List of the Grievances of the British Nation. "; numbered 1; one addition by Walpole; see also volume on Spanish depredations above and below; Spanish; French; Latin; English; n.d. [ circa 1738 - 1739? ]
