1. Appendix to Part One. Not in Walpole's hand.
2. Loose draft folios rel. to the work; left in the original order; in several hands, one apparently being Tilson's, but much of the drafting and correcting is in Walpole's hand; Some notes referring to the printing of the text seem to be in Horace Walpole's hand; other notes seem to be from someone connected with the printing of the 1762 edition; at least one annotation refers to the printed work; together with some diplomatic manuscripts, included possibly for reference, including Waldegrave to Trevor, 12 May 1738, partly in the former's hand.
