1. Memorandum by Sir Robert on the diplomatic situation in Europe, and the aims of the powers concerning the Queen of Spain and the Emperor, in the context of the treaty of Seville; n.d. [ Nov. 1729 - 1735 ].
2. Chronological notes on Spanish affairs. Described by Coxe as notes:" On the Rupture and Reconciliation with Spain "; n.d. [aft. 10 Feb. 1738 ] .
3. Brief notes rel. mainly to Spain, Benjamin Keene, and Admiral Hosier's fleet; n.d. [circa Dec. 1727? ] .
4. Notes on Sir John Bernard's Bill concerning the National Debt; with financial notes, some possibly for a speech by Sir Robert, probably relating to the Bill; n.d. [ 1737? ].
5. Notes by Sir Robert, apparently concerning a motion to dismiss him; includes notes on the speeches of Sandys, Littleton, Pulteney, Grenville, William Pitt, etc. n.d. [ 1740 according to Coxe ]. Followed by similar notes on speeches of Pitt, Bernard, Pulteney and others; according to Coxe, relating to the Loan; see also Add. MS 74013 ( 31 ), 74068 (8); n.d. [ 1740 - 1742? ].
6. Notes; largely speech notes, partly printed, concerning the Convention of the Pardo with Spain; including notes on evidence given concerning Spain's seizure of British shipping; see also Add. MSS 73924 et seq. above; n.d. [ circa Feb. 1739 ].
7. Notes of Sir Robert; apparently for a speech on the Excise; with related speech and other notes; includes notes on the " Abstract of the Virginia Petition ", rel. to tobacco, and notes on papers and bills of others on the same subject; together with a paper in Sir Robert's hand: " A Com[m]ittee of the whole House to take into consideration the State of the Publick Revenues." Underlined last words apparently changed to :" further Improvement of the revenues upon Tobacco and wines "; n.d. [ Mar.- Apr. 1733 ].
8. Notes by Sir Robert on speeches of opposition MPs on finance; possibly connected with (7); n.d. [ Mar.- Apr. 1733 ? ].
9. Notes on foreign policy, with particular reference to Italy and the Netherlands, and to attempts to convene a congress between France and the Emperor, concerning the plan of pacification; [ aft. 4 Oct. 1735 ].
10. Bound in with 9; notes of Sir Robert for a speech by George II on the prorogation of Parliament, referring to the plan of pacification; [ 1735 ].
