SAMUEL COLERIDGE-TAYLOR MANUSCRIPTS. Vol. I. Finale '4' (Allegro Alla Marcia) of the Symphony in A minor, op. 8; 1896. Autograph. Full score. According to an inscription by Frederick Kenyon on the title-page the manuscript was torn across by the composer and discarded after it had been criticised by Stanford. It was retrieved by a fellow student William Read, and given to Rutland Boughton who presented it to Frederick Kenyon on 30 March 1913. See Sotheby's sale-cat., 29 Nov. 1985, lot 39.
