1. ff. 1-5. 'Never too late', quartet from 'The Poison Kiss', a romantic extravaganza with spoken dialogue, for 12 soloists, mixed chorus and orchestra (words: Evelyn Sharp); 1936. Vocal score with separate typewritten words (f. 5). Annotated in red ink. See also Add. 50415 A-C, 50412, 65097 F. The vocal score published by Oxford University Press, 1936, lacks this movement.
2. ff. 6-11. Sketches for music for the film 49th Parallel (1941) [circa 1940?]. With pencil corrections and annotations. See also Add. 50422 A-J (sketches), 50423 A, B (full score) and 50480, ff. 53-59.
