6. 'The bay of Marmorice on the coast of Caromanice'; 1801. 1:33800 approx. 'Scale of one mile' (= 1.75 inches). Map oriented with East at top. Map bears the note 'Supposed to have been got by Sir E. C. [Sir Edward Codrington] from Capt. Hillyer'. R.U.S.I. no. V 5.20.

An accompanying note (f. 7*) states that Captain Tayler presented the map to the Duke of Clarence in his capacity as Lord High Admiral, and that the map was returned to Capt. Tayler when the Duke became King as William IV. Presented to the Institution by Capt. J. N. Tayler R.N., C.B. R.U.S.I. no. A 18.52.
