'Scale of 6 miles' (= 2.75 inches). Presented to the Institution by Lt. Col. Sir Charles Hamilton, Bart. 'No.121a' and 'No.121b' in ink on verso. R.U.S.I. nos. A 27.8A and A 27.8B.

'Plan and profil of the mines for the demolition of the fortifications of Louisbourg completed the 8th of November 1760', signed by Francois de Ruvynes, director of mines in North America, but possibly by J. H. Bastide (cf. Add. 57702, f. 9). 1:960. 'Scale of 80 feet to an inch for the plan of mines'. Scale bar of 400 feet (= 5 inches). Inset, profile drawings: 1:360; 'Scale for the profil of 30 feet to an inch'; scale bar of 110 feet (= 7 inches). The plan is accompanied by a note (f. 3*) of when the mines were exploded. Amherst no. C 23. R.U.S.I. no. A 28.6.
