1. 'The River St Lawrence. The fort survey'd by Lt. Ratzers, the river & islands by Wm Brasier'; 18th cent. 1:7200. 'Scale of feet 600 to an inch'. Scale bar of 4300 feet (= 7.3 inches). The map is intended to show the position of Fort William Augustus; there are no other names marked. Amherst no. C 28. R.U.S.I. no. A 28.26.

2. 'Carte de la riviere de Katarakoüi', by Paul Labrosse; 1750. 1:151200 approx. 'Echelle de 5 lieux' (= 147mm.). Partly French. Copy, by an English hand, of a French map found at Quebec in 1750; there are pencil notes in French. Add. 57709, f. 1 may be another copy from the same original. The original was presented by Labrosse to the Marquis de la Jonquière, the Governor-General, and François Bigot, the Intendant. Cf. K. Top. CXIX.16, which is a much smaller map. Amherst no. A 43.
