ANTHONY BERTOLACCI. Vol. I. Commonplace book, with miscellaneous papers and correspondence; 1818-1833; n.d. Partly Italian and French. Contains copies of 'A biographical sketch of Anthony Bertolacci' by E. R. A. Bertolacci, 1963, and an autograph piece on his life and works by North Anthony Pascal Bertolacci. There are many references to Italian society, politics and history, and to the Church of Rome. Also contains remedies for gout. Includes correspondence of Bertolacci and Frederick North. Among the principal entries is his reply to Hume on suicide (ff. 91-96v, 98-98v) which he intended to have printed.
