1. ff. 1-33. Correspondence of the Duchessa della Corgna with her cousin, Sir Robert Southwell, envoy to Brandenburg; 5 June-24 Oct. 1680. French and Italian. Consists chiefly of letters and memorials from the Duchess to Southwell, with one draft reply.

2. ff. 34-85. Newsletters, chiefly from France; Jan.-Dec. 1695. Mainly French. Most of the items are dated June-Aug. 1695. The letters are not strictly in date order as their sequence of arrangement on acquisition by the British Museum has largely been retained.

3. ff. 86-99. Letters to Blathwayt from John Burrow, consul at Leghorn; 7 May-23 July 1696. Signed.

4. ff. 100-129. Letters chiefly to Blathwayt from George Broughton, consul at Venice; 15 April-14 Sept. 1696, 3 Oct.-14 Nov. 1698.
