MONASTIC ACCOUNT BOOKS. Vol. VI. Register of the Grey Sisters of the Third Order of St Francis, Ypres; compiled from 1696 (f. 1b) to aft. 1800 (f. 99). Partly French. Contains accounts, memorials of events, amortizations and lists of assets. Preceded (ff. 2-5) by tables of contents, etc. F. 124 is a printed 'Certificate de vie', completed in the name of Josephine Thérèse Bousciqué, a former nun, and signed by her in receipt for an ecclesiastical pension, 1816. Also includes:- (a) Lists, etc., of confessors, 1624-1790. ff. 13-16;- (b) Lists of superiors of the house, 1564-1794.
ff. 19b-22b:- (c) Letters of successive Bishops of Ypres and of Pope
Pius VI, 1733-1790. Copies, but with two of the original letters inserted.
