RECORDS OF THE MANOR AND PARISH OF GAYWOOD, CO. Norf.; 13th cent.-1793. The lordship of the manor was held by the Bishops of Norwich until 27 Hen. VIII; it was acquired by the Wyche family in 1697 (cf. Blomefield's Norfolk, viii, pp. 419-425). Included are:-(a) Fragment (bifolium) of a 15th cent. register containing (i) the conclusion of an extent of the manor made in the time of Roger de Sker[n]ing, Bishop of Norwich 1266-1278, with later additions, and (ii) the text of a charter of Henry III to the Borough of Lynn, 6 Feb., 16 Hen. III [sic for 17 Hen. III, i.e. 1233]. Latin. ff. 1-2;-
