Pietro il Grande’, lyric play in three acts: translated by Manfredo Maggioni from the original English libretto by Desmond Ryan (for the music by L. G. Jullien). Printed (1852). Italian, with English translation. Licence sent 13 August 1852 for performance at the Royal Italian Opera, Covent Garden. Includes cast and orchestra members names as well as scenery designers’ names. Relationship of the text to ‘Peter the Great’, by E. Fitzball (Add. 52933 I) is not clear.
