'The northern star', play in three acts. Licence sent 2 March 1855 for performance at the St. James’s 5 March 1855. Signed by W. R. Markwell and Alfred Sanger, stage manager. Stage directions written in pencil throughout. See also Add. 52952 T (as ‘L’étoile du nord’) and Add. 52955 D under the title ‘La stella del nord’. Not listed in Nicoll, but another under the title ‘Star of the north’ is listed as having been performed at Sadler’s Wells and published in Lacy’s, but the reference has not been verified.
