'An address by Westland Marston, Esq. To be delivered by Mr Charles Dillon at the Lyceum Theatre before the National Anthem', address. Licence sent January 1858 for performance at the Lyceum 25 January 1858. LCO Day Book Add. 52703 records the stipulation that this address is for "the occasion of the marriage of the Princess Royal". Princess Victoria, Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, married Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia, later Emperor Frederick II of Germany, at the Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace, on 25 January 1858.
