Martha, comic opera in four acts (for the music by Flotow), the libretto edited by Manfredo Maggioni. Printed (Brettell, n.d.) Italian with facing English translation. Licence sent 5 July 1858 for performance at the Royal Italian Opera. The original German libretto was written for the first performance in Vienna in 1847 by W. Friedrich, and was based on a ballet –pantomime "Henriette, ou, La servante de Greenwich" with a scenario by J. H. Vernoy de Saint-Georges. It was performed in London in the original German in 1849.
