‘Never too late to mend' (altered from ‘The golden secret, or, Life in the new world’), a drama 'of woman's faith and man's treachery’, drama in two acts by C. H. Hazlewood. Licence sent 7 March 1859 for performance at the Britannia. Original title crossed out and amended in ink. Cover signed Samuel Lane, proprietor. MS written in more than one hand, contains extensive amendments in ink. Contains words for songs. See also Add. 52973 P including notes, and Add. 52975 A.
