Pantomime. Licence sent 17 December 1864 for performance at Her Majesty's. The name of the theatre manager, 'Mr Harrison', is noted on folio 1, together with the date of the play's intended performance - 26 December 1864. A longer title, 'The lion and the unicorn were fighting for the crown', is noted on folio 2v. Comic scenes contained separately in folios 51-54. MS in several hands. The attribution of the play to H. J. Byron is taken from Nicoll, the name of the dramatist not being recorded on the script.
