Opera in three acts. Licence sent 20 January 1865 for performance at Her Majesty's. 'Mr Harrison' noted as the theatre manager on folio 1. The name of the dramatist is not recorded on the script but Nicoll attributes the play to J. Oxenford and lists the production as an adaptation of the opera 'Lara' with libretto by E. Cormon and M. Carré, and music by L. Maillart.
