Drama in three acts. Licence sent 22 December 1866 for performance at the Haymarket. The date of intended representation noted as 26 December [1866]. MS in two different hands. LCO day Book (Add MS 53704) asks for all references to 'Lord' and 'God' be omitted in performance, as well as a passage in which a son is asked to request forgiveness from 'the Father who is in Heaven', rather than from his earthly parent. The name of the dramatist is not recorded on the script but Nicoll attributes the play to T. Taylor.
